COVID-19 Alternate Care Facility ^{Emergency Services}

Huen Electric completed the electrical construction for this de facto field hospital on an expedited timeframe – 26 days, start to finish — during the first waves of the COVID-19 pandemic. In each patient tent, our crews connected power for a mobile headwall and ventilator, interior task lighting, and nurse call buttons for each bed.

Designed to serve coronavirus patients, this unprecedented facility spanned three of the convention center’s halls, allowing patients to be separated by the level of care required. Up to 3,000 low- to moderate-acuity patients could be treated.
